HELP US ON OUR MISSION!
Grizzly Catholic is on an extraordinary mission to bring every soul on Oakland University’s campus to a living encounter with Jesus Christ. There is no more important undertaking in this life than to heed Our Lord’s call and to “proclaim the Gospel to every creature!”
(Mark 16:15)
College-students are particularly vulnerable to the lies of the enemy. It is, thus, of highest importance that our college students come to know the profound and life-altering Truth that they are deeply loved by God the Father and are called to lives of radical holiness.
We cannot accomplish this mission alone. We need your prayers, your gifts, and your support to help us continue this most important charge. Please prayerfully consider how you are able to partner with us — that we may bring more souls into the freedom and joy of the Gospel.

Donor-advised funds are one of the most popular charitable giving vehicles in the United States, because they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give. If you already have a donor-advised fund (DAF), you can direct assets from your fund to the Catholic Foundation of Michigan for the benefit of Oakland University Catholic Ministry.
A DAF is often referred to as a personal charitable savings account. A donor creates an account with a sponsoring organization, which can be a nonprofit or an investment company. The donor then contributes cash, stock, or other assets, and can take an immediate tax deduction for the gift. An adviser manages and invests the assets and works with the donor to identify charitable causes they desire to support.

REQUIRED MINIMUM DISTRITION FROM AN IRA
An easy and popular way to use your retirement assets is through a Required Minimum
Distribution (RMD) from your IRA.
If you are at least 73 years old, you must begin the required minimum distributions
(specified by tax laws) from your IRA accounts each year. Giving to charities can meet
this requirement while avoiding taxes on the amount transferred.
